Alysha Sieben
Alysha earned her Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2016. She began her studies at the University of the Fraser Valley where she graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology in 2014.
Since obtaining her physiotherapy degree, Alysha has pursued additional courses and certifications to enhance her knowledge and better assist her clients.
She has a particular interest in paediatric and women’s health. She is driven by her passion for supporting women of all ages, especially during pregnancy and postpartum. To provide comprehensive care, she has completed specialized pelvic health on pregnancy, postpartum recovery, post-cesarean section care, running, breast cancer recovery, lymphedema treatment, diastasis rectus abdominis, pelvic girdle pain, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse. Additionally, she enjoys working with children and their families, assisting them in areas such as torticollis (tight neck muscles in infants), achieving motor milestones, recovering from injuries, or training for sports.
Alysha has also expanded her expertise through further education in manual therapy, concussion management, soft tissue release, dry needling, K-taping, and neurokinetic training (NKT).
Alysha’s passion for exercise and her background as an elite athlete have fueled her dedication to helping people move better and return to the activities they love.
Her treatment approach encompasses hands-on manual therapy, including joint mobilizations and soft tissue release, functional dry needling, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Alysha is committed to empowering individuals to achieve their goals and enhance their mobility.
Outside of work, Alysha is a busy mom to her four children and goldendoodle. She is an avid runner, exercise enthusiast, and loves exploring the west coast!
