Tanya Bos joined Abbotsford Physiotherapy in September, 2007 and purchased the practice with her husband in 2009. She graduated from UBC in May, 1999 and has been working in private practice ever since.
She is the proud mother of 4 wonderful children and enjoys engaging in activities / sports with her kids.
She has completed all 5 levels in the Orthopaedic Division. She achieved her Certificate of Intermediate Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in May 2001 and her Diploma in Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in November 2003.
Over the past 14 years, Tanya has volunteered her physiotherapy services at several athletic events. These events include the B.C. Summer Games, running group training and races, gymnastic competitions and basketball games.
She is a long distance runner who completed the 2013 Run for Water Marathon in 3 hours and 48 minutes.
She enjoys treating the running population and is well educated in the treatment for various running overuse injuries. She also specializes in sports injury treatment and prevention, and in treating spinal and sacro-iliac joint injuries with manual / manipulative therapy.
